ADOPTABLE DOGS
Below are the dogs currently in our rescue and available for adoption. Please note we do require an approved adoption application on file before scheduling a meet with a dog. We are a foster-based dog rescue, so our dogs reside in homes across Northwest Arkansas. We do not have a physical shelter where dogs are housed. If you have specific questions about a dog, please email us at info@bigpawsoftheozarks.org. We choose adoption applicants by best fit for the dog, not first received. Our adoption fees are $175 for adults and $200 for puppies. We occasionally have specialty breeds (including Great Danes, AKC registered dogs, etc.) that have higher adoption fees. These will be communicated on a case-by-case basis.
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
Once we receive your application, we will be in touch by phone within 1-2 business days. We will answer your questions about the dog, talk through our adoption process, and get to know you! Once we've done this, we'll set up a meet and greet for you to bring your family (current dogs included) and meet the dog. After the meet and greet, you can make your decision on adoption! Our adoption contract is virtual and you can pay the adoption fee online.
