From the humble beginnings of our dog rescue and training program, where a few dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to help furry friends find their forever homes, we have come a long way. Our organization has been growing and gaining momentum and touching the lives of countless dogs and humans alike. The demand for our services has skyrocketed, and it's time to roll over and embrace the opportunity to strengthen our operations.


Finding the Perfect Pawfessional:


We understand that finding the right Operations Manager is a ruff task, but we're determined to find someone who will help lead our pack with enthusiasm, expertise, and a big heart for dogs. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our organization, coordinating rescue efforts, overseeing daily operations, and managing our team of dedicated volunteers. Our new Operations Manager will have the chance to make a real impact on the lives of our furry friends and help shape the future of our program.


Responsibilities that Will Make Tails Wag:


Operations Manager will report directly to the Executive Director. This position is a part-time (with possibility of becoming full-time) position paying $15 an hour. Hours will be around 25-30 hours a week and flexible including office and at home.


Job responsibilities revolve around the execution of rescue and training program including but not limited to:

  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way

  • Oversee trainers scheduling and logistics.

  • Answer phone calls and making training sales

  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices

  • Purchase materials and oversee inventory

  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives

  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service

  • Respond to email and social media messages and inquiries

  • Assist medical coordinator with scheduling vet appointments, meet and greets, and vaccination appointments for dogs in rescue
